300 hour FACIAL SPECIALIST program
Our 10 week, 300-hour Facial Specialist Program will educate future estheticians in the general skills of facials, eyelash extensions, skincare, waxing, and makeup. The program includes lectures, demonstrations, student practical and theory work, and written and practical evaluations
Our tuition includes all the required kits, books and materials vs. other schools that charge separately. Loans, Grants and Scholarships are available (to those who qualify) and generally cover most, if not all, of the cost of your schooling. All this information is gone over in a campus tour.
What does FACIAL SPECIALIST cover?
Facial Specialist covers the skincare area of the beauty industry. Our program consists of 300 hours and covers things such as:
- Introduction of Salon & Spa Management
- Resume Writing and Interviewing Skills
- Basic and Advanced Facials
- Skincare Product Ingredients
- Full Body and Facial Waxing
- Sanitation
- Classic, Volume and Hybrid Eyelash Extensions
- Eyelash Lift and Tints
- Brow Lamination and Tints
- Make-Up Applications
How do I learn?
Our Facial Specialist program is split into 2 phases. The first phase of the Facial Specialist program is 150 hours and is spent in the classroom going over theory, as well as applying what you’ve learned in class with hands on learning days. Phase 2 is also 150 hours and is spent in the Treatment Room working with clients as well as some light class work.
During the 150 hours in the classroom, we incorporate online lessons, Power Points, guest speakers (who are educated and valued individuals from Dermalogica and local spas), and a variety of other activities and media.
What's The Schedule?
Our Facial Specialist program is offered in both a Full-Time and Part-Time schedule.
- Full – Time: 30 hours/week over 10 weeks (Tues – Fri 9:00am to 5:00pm)
- Part – Time: 20 hours/week over 15 weeks (Tues – Thurs 5:30pm to 9:30pm & Sat 8:30am to 5:00pm)

What's Included with Tuition?
Our Facial Specialist program is all inclusive. Upon enrollment you’ll receive your student kit and books. Your kit includes all your professional tools, products, and materials. Both your kits along with your books are included in tuition and are yours to keep.
How do I pay?
We have monthly payment plans available and access to other loan options. Our financial aid staff will be able to assist you in finding the best option for you.

Through relationships with local salon and spa owners and industry insiders, we are constantly in the know of salons and spas hiring future professionals, industry related jobs, as well as connections with salon and spa headhunters looking for great new talent coming into the field.
Is The esthetics field a good career?
Florida is among the top five states for employing estheticians and facial specialist. The job market for skincare specialists is excellent for the 2020s: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has said that positions are growing at 17% between 2019 and 2029, a rate much more powerful than the average job. In short, the population is aging — in less than 20 years, older adults will have children outnumbered for the first time in U.S. history, according to the Census Bureau — but Americans don’t want the effects of aging to show on their faces. To wit, the market for cosmetics and beauty products is projected to grow 5.6% in 2023 alone. Consumer demand for skincare and beauty services is on an uphill climb, and increased job opportunities are expected to follow.
